Climate Change DVD

Five young environmentalists travel to Copenhagen to represent NZ at the UN Climate Change Forum in December 2009. The DVD will showcase their journey and stories to help encourage other young adults to take action on this issue. They will use the DVD at speaking engagements at schools, communities and to sponsors in 2010. It will also be available for use and distribution through environmental groups, schools and members of the public.

New Zealand Model United Nations 2010

The NZ Model UN 2010 is a four day national conference for high school students. During the conference NZ high school students represent a UN Member state in a simulation of the workings of the UN General Assembly and its sub-committees. The students are provided with draft resolutions on issues which are salient to current debate at an international level. They are expected to debate and amend these resolutions in accordance with their member state's view on the given issue. This model encourages an interactive style of learning and a personal engagement with international affairs.
